After working for the State for over 5 years, I decided to make a career change and took the offer to work with Chris and his team of excellent agents. Real estate was new to me, but Chris took the time to explain what my role would be as a Transaction Coordinator. Since working with the Chris Smith Group, I have learned a lot and still learning every day. I enjoy making sure the client’s transaction is going smoothly from start to close and connecting with everyone that is involved as well as provide assistance to our team of agents to help relieve some extra duties they don’t need to worry about.
Being a transaction Coordinator can be a very busy, fast paced position but with organization and the knowledge that I have gained thus far it has become routine. It helps that I work with the top 1% real estate team in Austin who will go above and beyond to help their clients, so I will do the same in every transaction that comes across my desk.
I first got into real estate when I decided to flip my first house and I haven’t looked back since. At the time, I was working in the medical field helping patients in their own homes, meeting different people and seeing different places people called home. I loved it but it wasn’t my full passion. After finishing my first house flip and the success it had, I had some friends and family who were interested in my experience which led me to helping them with their real estate needs. I loved every aspect of helping them and I knew working in the real estate market to help people find their future homes or investments was going to be my job and my passion.
There’s something to when you walk into a house and I can begin to see all the amazing possibilities the house can bring a family. I truly enjoy finding my client the best possible home so noticing any potential negatives or concerns and voicing that will always be a top priority of mine. Through my experience I’ve learned from many different people and personal exposures to the area and have cultivated a great knowledge of the housing market in central Texas and what buyers and sellers are looking for to achieve the best possible price.
